We were pleased to host our first CBPES event of the year, a breakfast briefing focused on the evolving challenges of employing staff across the Northern Ireland–Republic of Ireland border.

As cross-border working arrangements continue to increase, so too does the complexity of the associated tax, payroll, social security and compliance obligations. The session provided employers with practical clarity on the key risks and responsibilities impacting cross-border workforces in 2026.

The briefing was delivered by Jennifer Gill, Tax Director at EY Northern Ireland, and Rachel Dillon, Tax Partner at EY Ireland, who guided attendees through a comprehensive and highly practical agenda

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation.
