The #HomesForAll project, run by the New2You store in Pennyburn Recyling Centre seeks to help individuals who have experienced homelessness. The 4 R’s want to highlight the ongoing problem that is hidden homelessness and remove the stigma of being homeless. The project involves:

  • Providing individuals in need with basic household items such as a bed, sofa or table and chairs or a white good item such as a cooker, washing machine, or tumble dryer.
  • A place on one of the DIY programmes.
  • These individuals will also have access to a computer, internet and printer at New 2 You for anyone who may need to avail for accommodation security, job opportunities or benefit needs.
  • They will offer help and support for any of our participants looking to return to employment or education. We will be running an interview clothing scheme.
  • They will also be running an emergency food pantry.

The cost to support the pledge is £160 which will cover the cost of materials for the DIY courses that they offer, clothing for the interview scheme and food for the emergency food bank. You will also receive a plaque to signify your support. They promise to help as many individuals referred to them as possible so that the transition from being homeless to finding their home is that bit easier. Support our pledge and in turn we can support and promote your business. Help us, Help you.
