The 2026 Lourdes programme from Joe Walsh Tours officially launched at City of Derry Airport on Monday 25th May, marking the continuation of a successful collaboration that offers pilgrims across the Northwest with direct access to one of the world’s most celebrated spiritual destinations.

Lourdes, located in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, welcomes millions of pilgrims annually and remains one of the most visited Christian pilgrimage sites in the world.

Pilgrims from the Raphoe Diocesan in Donegal set off on the inaugural departure of the summer, with many on board revisiting Lourdes after enjoying their experience on the Joe Walsh Tours’ programme that has been in operation at the Gateway of the Northwest over the last four years.

Their four-night stay includes a full religious itinerary organised in conjunction with the Diocese, direct return flights, full board accommodation, airport transfers, and the support of experienced Joe Walsh Tours representatives throughout the journey.
