Developing Healthy Communities are running a workshop for managers, team leaders and supervisors on managing mental health in the workplace.

Given the impact that Covid19 has had on all our mental health; the ongoing uncertainty and the feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, it is normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious in this current climate.  We need to prioritise our mental health and wellbeing by having the confidence and skills to adapt to these challenges and maintain hope

  • One in five adults in Northern Ireland has experienced a mental health problem
  • Hope accounts for 14% of productivity in the workplace more than intelligence, optimism or self -efficacy
  • Hopeful individuals are resilient and exhibit enthusiasm, involvement and commitment in the workplace
  • Hope is considered as an important contribution in the psychological wellbeing of individuals
