We are delighted to announce that tickets go on sale 2nd August for our 64th Annual President’s Dinner to be held on 7th October 2022, sponsored by Allstate NI and hosted by journalist and award-winning broadcaster, Mark Simpson.

The President’s Annual Dinner is a highly successful and long-established event, regarded as one of the North West’s premier business networking opportunities. The Annual Dinner is expected to attract a capacity audience of over 300 guests including the A-list of the region’s business community, Chamber Board members and dignitaries. The President’s Dinner is also the perfect opportunity to network with business colleagues, entertain your key customers and suppliers, and celebrate recent achievements.

This black-tie event will truly be a night to remember with our keynote inspirational speaker, Hannah Shields, first woman from Northern Ireland to summit Mount Everest and first women from Ireland to ski to the magentic North Pole. Hannah’s achievement on Everest had not come easily. In May 2003, Hannah climbed the south side of the mountain with the Irish Everest Expedition. However, she was forced to make the heartbreaking decision to turn back just 100m from the summit due to frostbite injuries. Undaunted, Hannah returned to the mountain in 2007 to climb from the North side and successfully reached the summit. Following her first attempt on Everest, Hannah took part in the inaugural Polar Challenge race to the North Magnetic Pole. Their experiences during the race, which included terrifying encounters with predatory Polar Bears, were recorded by the BBC as part of the ‘Challenge’ series. Approaching her 50th birthday, she took up the multi-disciplinary sports of duathlon and triathlons, participating in a wide range of distances from sprint to Ironman distance races. She was, again, successful in her new sport, winning national titles in duathlon and every race distance in triathlons. Her success has also resulted in selection to represent Ireland at international level.

Hannah lives by the ideal of “Limits Exist Only in Our Minds”.

The night will include after-dinner entertainment from Jamie Skelton. Jamie is an award-winning Magician & Mentalist and is well known for appearing on the hit show “Ireland’s Got Talent”, as well as appearances on shows such as Xposé & Ireland AM.
