Event Type

Derry based charity AWARE NI is marking its 30th anniversary with Look at Me Now – a powerful mental health exhibition featuring 30 stories of mental ill-health, resilience, and recovery. This free exhibition launches on World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) and runs until World Mental Health Day (10 October) at the Millenium Forum, Derry/Londonderry. It will be officially opened by Councillor Grace Uí Niallais, Mayor of Derry & Strabane.

The exhibition takes its name from a line in a poem written by an AWARE NI service user, whose words chart a personal journey from struggle to recovery.

Featuring 30 personal testimonies from service users, volunteers, staff, fundraisers and supporters, this special exhibition evidences the life-changing impact of mental health support and the strength of the human spirit in overcoming adversity.

We would love it if you could join us between the 10th of the September and 10th of October to view our exhibition.

The exhibition is free to attend.
