ABOUT THIS EVENT

Derry City and Strabane is a district of festivals, and with that comes real opportunities for local businesses to connect with audiences, increase visibility, and boost footfall.

This lunchtime information session is designed to help local businesses understand what is coming up, where the opportunities are, and how to activate their brand in a way that aligns with the city’s major festivals, including the Jazz Festival, Maritime Festival and Halloween.

During the session, attendees will hear from:

• The Derry City & Strabane District Council Events Team, who will provide an overview of the festival calendar and outline how festivals take shape across the city and district.
• The Derry City & Strabane District Council Business Support Team, who will share practical information on the opportunities available to businesses, including partnerships, promotions, collaborations and support.
• A Brand Activation Expert, who will explore how businesses can take things further by activating their brand in a way that feels authentic, creative and aligned with festival audiences, without overstretching time or budget.

This session is relevant for retailers, hospitality businesses, service providers and creative brands that want to move beyond simply being open during festivals to actively making the most of them.
