 si\n\nEvent overview\n\nThis virtual seminar will provide both cross borde
 r workers and employers with information on social security and tax issues
  such as redundancy payments\, pension lump sums\, tax relief on pension c
 ontributions\, tax requirements for cross border workers\, social insuranc
 e benefits and pensions in a cross-border situation.\n\nAttendees willalso
  receive information on implications for companies with staff memberswho w
 ork in both jurisdictions. It will also serve as an introduction to the Fr
 ee Services offered by EURES and help establish and strengthen networks be
 tween EURES advisers and employers.\n\n \n\nSpeaker bios:\n\n \n\n\n\nRe
 dmond McFadden\, President\, Londonderry Chamber of Commerce\n\nRedmond is
  Regional Manager of Danske Bank in the northwest and President of Londond
 erry Chamber of Commerce\, as well as past President of Londonderry Junior
  Chamber.\n\nRedmond is a career banker\, having joined the industry in 19
 86 and worked through most roles to his current position. His time in bank
 ing has allowed him to gain a wealth of experience across the banking sect
 ors including Branch Banking\, Business and Corporate Banking\, and Mortga
 ge Services.\n\nHe has worked throughout Northern Ireland but is delighted
  to be now based in Derry-Londonderry. He has a keen interest in supportin
 g the business community in the northwest and has given his experience on 
 the boards of Noribic\, Limavady College and NW Board of Young Enterprise.
  He has also been on the board of Foyle Foodbank and has worked to fund ra
 ise for Children In Crossfire.\n\n \n\n\n\nRose Tierney\, Tierney Tax Con
 sultancy\n\nRose Tierney is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advis
 er qualified to practice in both the UK and Ireland. After many years in p
 ractice in London and Dublin she set up Tierney Tax Consultancy. Having ad
 vised businesses from large multinationals to sole trader start-ups Rose n
 ow uses that wealth of experience in assisting individuals and businesses 
 on tax matters arising in both jurisdictions.\n\nTierney Tax Consultancy a
 lso operates as an independent tax adviser for professional accountancy an
 d legal firms enhancing the services that they can provide to their own cl
 ients.\n\n \n\n\n\nOrla Rafferty\, provides executive coaching\, HR consu
 ltancy and investigation services\n\nOrla Rafferty is a Fellow Member of t
 he Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)\, with over 24
  years of HR Management experience having worked across multiple industr
 ies and sectors. In 2013 she set up her own coaching and consulting busine
 ss providing advice\, mentoring and support to SMEs and organisations with
 in the public sector\n\nHer specialisms include business strategy\, leader
 ship\, motivating self and others\, employee relations and workplace confl
 ict. Over the years she has gained working knowledge and experience of emp
 loyee relations within US\, Poland\, UK and Ireland. She has vast experien
 ce in company restructuring\, change management and dealing with challengi
 ng situations and times.\n\n \n\n\n\nPaul Clancy\, CEO Londonderry Chambe
 r of Commerce\n\nPaul Clancy qualified as an Electrical Engineer BSc Elec 
 Hons from Trinity College Dublin and has Diplomas in both Manufacturing an
 d Human Resource Management with the Irish Management Institute (IMI).\n\n
 He has held a number of senior management roles withing the Agri\, Food\, 
 Drinks and Manufacturing Industries within Ireland\, UK and Scandinavia.\n
 \nPaul has held Sales Director\, Marketing and Managing Director roles and
  most recently was the MD of Baxi Ireland (Part of BDR Thermea).\n\nAs CEO
  of the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce\, Paul is looking forward to leadi
 ng this organisation through what are some very challenging times.
