Event Overview
Financial Wellbeing is about feeling secure and in control. It is knowing thatyou can pay the bills today, can deal with the unexpected and are on track for a healthy financial future. In short – confident and empowered.
Almost 8 in 10 employees take their money worries to work, affecting their performance.
Nearly 7 in 10 UK Employers believe staff performance is negatively affected when employees are under financial pressure.
2 million worker days are lost, each year, in absences because of a lack of financial wellbeing. That’s the equivalent of £6.25 million in lost output.
Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) wants to help people – particularly those in need – to improve their financial wellbeing and build a better, more confident future.
Working collaboratively with Employers, we want to help you, build financial wellbeing into your internal policies and practices, to help your employees, gain access to high quality money and pensions guidance, and debt advice, throughout their lives and when they need it.
At this workshop, MaPS will introduce you to the UK Financial Wellbeing Strategy and the free services and resources, available to implement a Financial Wellbeing Strategy, in your workplace.
