Gather at the Gate: Speed Networking

We’re pleased to present Gather at the Gate, a speed networking event designed to foster connections, share knowledge, and promote business growth. This event is sponsored by Find Insurance and will be held in the luxurious surroundings of the Bishop’s Gate Hotel, who have kindly provided the venue.

Objectives:

The primary objectives of this speed networking event are threefold:

1. To facilitate meaningful business connections among attendees, allowing them to expand their professional networks and explore new opportunities.
2. To provide a platform for sharing industry insights and best practices, enabling participants to learn from each other’s experiences and expertise.

Gather at the Gate will adopt a speed-networking format, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants. This format allows attendees to engage in multiple, brief conversations with a variety of professionals, maximising the potential for valuable connections and business collaborations. Each interaction is designed to be focused and productive, providing a solid foundation for future relationships.

Agenda:

The event’s agenda is structured to optimise both formal and informal networking opportunities:

• 15:00 – 15:30: Registration and Welcome Reception – Participants will have the chance to register, enjoy refreshments, and begin informally connecting with fellow attendees in a relaxed atmosphere.
• 15:30 – 15:45: Opening Remarks – Representatives from the Chamber and our sponsor, Find Insurance, will deliver opening remarks, setting the stage for the event.
• 15:45 – 16:45: Speed-Networking Sessions – The core of the event, these sessions will facilitate multiple rounds of brief, structured conversations, enabling participants to meet a diverse group of professionals.
• 16:45 – 17:00: Closing Remarks and Informal Networking – The event will conclude with final remarks, followed by an opportunity for attendees to continue networking informally, solidifying connections made during the speed-networking sessions.
