Eddie Salmon, Investors in People Assessor, will give a short introduction on the IiP standard and give examples of the types/size of business/organisations that have been accredited.

Eddie will also discuss why entities seek to engage with IiP and the benefits andimprovements that business can potentially gain.

 Investors in People is the Standard for people management. The international people management Standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results.

Based on a tried and tested framework and a rigorous process of assessment, organisations thatmeet the Investors in People Standard proudly display their accreditationto the world because they understand that it’s people that make the difference.

Since 1991, the standard has evolved to keep pace with modernpractices. The current sixth generation was launched internationally in 2015.

There are four levels of accreditation: Accredited, Silver, Goldand Platinum.
