Speaker Bio: 

Anna Doherty

Anna was appointed Interim Chief Executive of the Londonderry Chamber in March 2022.

Anna re-joined the Chamber team in February 2020 and worked closely with outgoing CEO, Paul Clancy, to support and inform members throughout the Covid pandemic. She previously worked with Chamber as Events Manager from April 2013 to July 2015 and spent the intervening years working in various membership, trade and awarding bodies, including BritishAmerican Business, the American Chamber in London.

Prior to 2013 Anna ran her own food business producing delicious ready-made cooking sauces for sale throughout Donegal and owned the award-winning Rusty Nail Pub and Restaurant in Clonmany for some years with her husband.  She also hadsales and marketing roles in a number of Inishowen hotels.

 

Michael Rutherford, Partner at Toast

Michael is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a BSc in Computer Science. He has led project turnarounds to modernise sole traders, small and large firms to ensure they are ready for the digital age. He understands that each company has its budgetary constraints and develops solutions that can vastly improve profitability butmore importantly are affordable.

Michael has a vast amount of experience in utilising technology to improve business performance through efficiency.

 

Steven Kivelehan, Senior Accountant at Toast

Steven is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a fellow member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Xero Certified advisor. He oversees all client affairs and ensures that deadlines are met from a compliance and tax perspective.

Steven is also a Certified Customs & Trade Advisor that can advise on matters specifically relating to trade between Northern Ireland & GB and Ireland / EU post-Brexit.
