This free event will bring together policymakers, employers, practitioners, and workplace leaders for a timely and important conversation on how we can create mentally healthier workplaces across Northern Ireland.
Mental health at work impacts individuals, teams, organisations, and the wider economy. This session will explore why workplace mental health matters, what effective support looks like in practice, and what more can be done to improve working environments.
The programme will include:
- A ministerial discussion on workplace mental health as both a health and economic issue
- Practical insights from AWARE NI on supporting conversations in the workplace
- Expert input on the economic cost of poor workplace mental health
- An employer panel sharing experiences, challenges, and lessons learned
This event is particularly relevant for:
- Employers and business leaders
- HR and people professionals
- Public sector and policy stakeholders
- Community and voluntary sector organisations
- Anyone with an interest in improving mental health at work
There will also be time for networking and informal discussion following the main programme.
