ABOUT THIS EVENT

Go Succeed and Derry City and Strabane District Council invite local businesses and social enterprises to Procure for Purpose — an informative session designed to help organisations strengthen their understanding of public procurement and become ‘tender ready’.

This practical workshop will guide participants through the full tendering process, from identifying opportunities to submitting strong, compliant applications. Attendees will learn how to:

• Understand where and how public bodies advertise opportunities and register interest
• Recognise the key stages of a typical procurement process and what assessors look for
• Structure high-scoring tender responses using clear, evidence-based writing
• Prepare essential organisational information and policies to ensure readiness
• Identify and demonstrate social value commitments with measurable outcomes
