DESCRIPTION:Event Overview:\nThis webinar for Chamber members aims to provi
 de a full update on the free-to-use digital Trader Support Service.\nThe T
 SS provides guidance and helps businesses and traders of all sizes to navi
 gate the changes to the way goods move once the Northern Ireland protocolc
 ame into effect on 1 January 2021.\nSince TSS went live on 21st December\,
  there have been a number of key enhancements and releases to the TSS serv

 Singham\, Competere\nShanker Singham is Chief Executive Officer of Compete
 re. He is Chairman of GENN\, Chairman of Global Vision and an academic fel
 low to the IEA. Shanker has recently be appointed to the Trade and Agricul
 ture Commission. He sits on the Wilton Park Advisory Committee and is a li
 fe member of the Council on Foreign Relations\, and Bretton Woods Committe
 e. Shanker was an advisor to the US Trade Representative and to theUK Trad
 e Secretary on international trade issues and is a non-Government Adviser 
 to the International Competition Network. He is one of the world’s leadi
 ng international trade\, and competition experts and a regular commentator
  on TV\, radio and in newspapers. Shanker has chaired the market access/WT
 O practices of two global law firms.\nHe has authored over 100 articles an
 d book chapters\, as well as the leading textbook on the interfacebetween 
 trade\, competition and regulatory issues.\nFrank Dunsmuir\, Fujitsu\nFran
 k leads Fujitsu’s International Trade and Customs practice\, advising on
  the applications of technology in a UK future border strategy and solutio
 ns to the more immediate EU exit challenges. As the lead technology adviso
 r to the Alternative Arrangements Commission\, he gained in-depthknowledge
  of the complex implications on Northern Ireland trade and how technology 
 may support addressing these.\nHe is a Non-Executive Director ofIBMATA (In
 ternational Border Management And Technologies Association) a not for prof
 it organisation (NGO) committed to the safe and secure movementof people a
 nd goods across international borders. Working with the Technical Universi
 ty of Munich he is developing technology strategies which support economic
  growth in developing regions through the use of Special Economic Zones. F
 rank has published several points of view on the Future Borderand provided
  the technical content for a response to the Chancellors Freeport Consulta
 tion document.\nKevin Shakespeare\, Institute of Export and International 
 Trade\nKevin is a key member of the Institute’s management team and an e
 nergetic and self-motivated individual with a strong knowledge of educatio
 n\, trade and finance and international trade\, built up overmany years in
  senior management positions. His experience includes delivering year on y
 ear sales growth of 15%+\, managing revenue lines totaling more than £50m
 .\nHe has managed top 100 banking connections in HBOS covering Internation
 al Trade strategy and procedures\, including Sports Direct\,Alexander Denn
 is and innocent Drinks. Supported complex International Trade structures.\
 nKevin has been instrumental in winning large financial services and trade
  finance business with connections such as Arcadia\, innocent Drinks and T
 owergate Insurance\, and supported international trade growth in a number 
 of SME exporting businesses.\nKevin was a member of the Bank of Scotland M
 anagement Development Programme supporting top talent in the business lead
 ing large teams in diverse locations with different skills sets.\nKevin ha
 s developed trade and customs qualification programmes and delivered speci
 fic learning programmes to large organisations including Scottish Enterpri
 se\, UK Export Finance\, Invest Northern Ireland\, BarclaysBank\, Bolero a
 nd Coface. Kevin has also led overseas trade initiatives in Estonia\, Saud
 i Arabia and Tajikistan.\nDaniel Garnon\, Institute of Export and Internat
 ional Trade\nDan is a Customs Consultant with the Institute. He has extens
 ive international trade and export compliance experience obtained in senio
 r management appointments in public and private sector global organisation
 s\, working in multiple business areas in the UK and overseas. Dan has a v
 aried background which started in military logistics wherehe commanded lar
 ge logistics organisations with up to 260 multi-disciplinary and multinati
 onal staff\, inventory circa £310m and budget of £180m p.a. He then move
 d into specialist defence\, police and special forces equipment UK and int
 ernational sales. In his previous role as Head of Export Control for an ae
 rospace & defence sector FTSE 100 company he led global export control com
 pliance assurance activities and the strategic drivefor increased use of t
 echnology-based compliance solutions. As the company’s Trade Compliance 
 Lead for a global transformation programme centred on product\, data\, pro
 cess and system integration\, simplification and digitisation\, he created
  the principles and vision to benefit 28\,000 personnel and contingent wor
 kers\, secure operating benefits of £5.5m and riskmitigation of circa £5
 00m
