DESCRIPTION:Ulster Talks series “Atlas for a City-Region”\n\na talk by
 \n\nGareth Doherty &amp\; Niall G.Kirkwood.\n\nCentred on the northwest of
  Ireland\, this eighteen-month long research project investigates how a cr
 oss-border city-region can be shaped in light of the economic\, political 
 and social realities of Brexit. The project asked how landscape architectu
 re can be an agent in the shaping of the cross-border region.\n\nNiall G. 
 Kirkwood FASLA is the Charles Eliot Professor of Landscape Architecture an
 d Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Harvard University Graduate Schoo
 l of Design where he has taught and carried out research\, publishing\, an
 d consulting since joining the faculty in 1992. Professor Kirkwood’s sub
 ject is technology in landscape architecture and its relationship to desig
 n.\n\nGareth Doherty ASLA is Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture
  at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He takes a human-cen
 tered approach to design and theory that aspires to shape environmentally 
 and socially just landscapes. Through what he terms “landscape fieldwork
 \,” Doherty unravels diverse landscape narratives that have not yet been
