UK Tradeshow Programme

DIT’s newly launched UK Tradeshow Programme aims to help businesses maximise their impact at international tradeshows, whether as exhibitors or visitors. Attending or exhibiting at overseas tradeshows can help you gain essential market knowledge, make new contacts and increase your brand awareness and sales.  All successful applicants to the UK Tradeshow Programme will receive training. Some businesses may be eligible to receive financial support to attend or exhibit.

Call for Expressions of Interest: Food and Drink Export Council Co-Chair

DIT is seeking to appoint an industry representative with expertise and interest in driving forward agriculture, food and drink exports to co-chair the UK’s Food and Drink Export Council. The Export Council will harness expertise and resource from government and industry across the UK in a collective endeavour to increase agriculture, food and drink exports. Apply to join DIT’s e-commerce retail trade mission to Singapore (10-14 October 2022)
Northern Ireland businesses across fashion, beauty, lifestyle and accessories can apply to join this trade mission to Southeast Asia’s powerhouse, Singapore, to coincide with eCommerce Expo Asia. This week-long mission is a great way to learn about this dynamic market and meet potential business partners, service providers and marketplaces. Companies with a turnover of £5m+ are welcomed to apply here. Deadline: 14 August 2022

Register your Expression of Interest to host an event during International Trade Week (31 October – 4 November 2022)
International Trade Week is DIT’s biggest export-focused event of the year, last year bringing together over 3,000 businesses across 100+ events, spanning the entire breadth of the UK. This year, we are seeking expressions of interest from external organisations wishing to host export-focused events.
Themes for the week are:

  • How to Trade including “Advice for New Exporters” and “Expanding your Market”
  • Green Trade and Finding Investment
  • Trade as a Force for Good
  • Finding Your Market – Global Opportunities
