This partnership celebrates the importance of recognising and celebrating the achievements of businesses in the North West region.
This exciting news follows the announcement earlier this week of the individual award sponsors. There are 18 awards this year, each one is sponsored by a different company including Chamber members, City of Derry Airport, Ulster University Business School, Allstate NI, Derry City and Strabane District Council, U105, Visit Derry, Alchemy Technology Services and Strabane BID.
The award categories this year range from Creative Marketer of the Year to Educational Partnership Award, and Pub of the Year to Sustainability Champion of the Year. There is an award category to suit every business sector.
Anna Doherty, CEO of Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, spoke of the today’s sponsorship announcement, she said: “We are incredibly excited about the announcement that Bank of Ireland will be sponsoring the North West Business Awards 2024. This partnership highlights the significance of honouring and celebrating the accomplishments of businesses within the North West region.
We believe this sponsorship will not only elevate the profile of the awards but also foster a deeper sense of community and support among our local businesses. We look forward to a successful event that showcases the innovation and resilience of our vibrant business community.”
Jim Roddy, City Centre Manager, CCI said: “These awards aim to recognise the outstanding efforts made by our businesses and entrepreneurs over the past year, particularly those who have gone above and beyond to innovate and bolster the economy in the North West region.
“Our entry process is now open until Friday 19th April 2024, and we encourage anyone interested in entering or nominating a business or entrepreneur from the North West region to do so before the deadline. The process is straightforward and can be completed online via the City Centre Initiative website or by contacting CCI or Londonderry Chamber of Commerce“
The awards night promises to be an enjoyable occasion filled with acknowledgment, entertainment, and enjoyment. These awards are an excellent opportunity for the North West business community to recognise our peers, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of Bank of Ireland and the all the individual award sponsors.
