Derry Chamber will host its 67th President’s Annual Dinner this evening at the Everglades Hotel, bringing together business leaders, corporate partners, patrons, and distinguished guests from across the North West.

The flagship black-tie event serves as a highlight of the North West business calendar, and promises a memorable night of fine dining, networking, and celebration.

This year’s main sponsor is Foyle Port, the North West’s regional gateway for commerce and tourism. Having served the people and businesses of the North West for over 170 years, Foyle Port has grown into a vital regional hub and is a major employer, with 100 people directly employed and around 1,500 indirect jobs supported across multiple cross-border sectors. Chamber is delighted to have such a cornerstone of the North West Economy as the main sponsor tonight.

In a celebration of Derry’s rich cultural heritage, guests will hear from a panel of distinguished local creatives whose work has garnered international acclaim. Hosted by broadcaster Lynette Fay, the conversation will feature musical visionary Darren Hargan of Le Foyer Des Artistes, BAFTA-winning television producer and founder of Alleycats TV Ed Stobart, and company director of the acclaimed In Your Space Circus, Cath McBride. Together, they will explore the transformative power of the arts in shaping vibrant communities and delivering prosperity and opportunity.

As part of Chamber President Andrew Fleming’s commitment to supporting local creativity, this year’s chosen charity is In Your Space Circus. Based in Derry, it is one of the most innovative and dynamic arts organisations in the region, utilising circus and street theatre as a vehicle for personal, social and community development. Proceeds from the evening’s raffle will go directly to supporting their life changing work.
