After a successful week, the LegenDerry Food Festival enters its final stage this weekend! LegenDerry highlights the benefits of the city’s unique geography and diverse climate to create incredible local food.

Already this week the White Horse Hotel has held a Lovely Afternoon Tea, Soda and Starch hosted a Meet the Producers: Beer and Cheese Long-Table event, and the Walled City Brewery held two sessions of their Let Love Be Gin workshop which gave couples the chance to craft the ultimate gin alongside Walled City Breweries own distillery team.

This Saturday join LegenDerry for their Food Tour that traverses the whole city to showcase the best in local produce and experiences. The tour takes you through the top restaurants, breweries and chefs in the city. As part of the tour, you will uncover the history of the most successful chefs in Derry and learn how their passion for food has helped develop the city into a world-renowned culinary destination as well as showcasing the humour and character that our city is famous for. Rounding off the weekend is Northern Ireland’s first ever Stout & Oyster Festival! Hosted by the Walled City Brewery, the festival kicks off today and promises to be a fantastic weekend of music and activities. The festival is in support of the Lough Foyle Native Oyster and Walled City’s own Foyster Stout. Their award winning chefs will be shucking fresh oysters and other local seafood dishes. Walled City’s brewers have been working around the clock to present Ireland’s most diverse local Stout Collection from Tabasco Stout to Espresso Stout. Check out the totally unique festival in the Walled City Brewery’s new Taproom this Friday and Saturday!
