Londonderry Chamber is thrilled to announce that our President’s Annual Lunch will take place on Thursday 27 March 2025 at The Ebrington Hotel. This highly anticipated event will bring together 200 distinguished guests, including business leaders, political representatives, educational figures, and civic stakeholders, to discuss the future of the North West region.
This year’s event marks our first major event under the leadership of Chamber President Andrew Fleming, who has chosen ‘Ambitious Regional Collaboration’ as the central theme of his tenure. The lunch will focus on transformative projects set to drive economic growth and regional development over the next decade, reinforcing the Chamber’s vision for the North West to be globally recognised for its quality of life and economic vibrancy. As Derry embraces its role as Northern Ireland’s second city and the urban hub of a thriving North West, the importance of strategic collaboration has never been greater.
The event will feature a senior Government keynote speaker as well as a dynamic panel discussion, and will be hosted by esteemed broadcaster Wendy Austin, with speakers offering insights on key developments, including the Region City Deal, Ulster University Derry/Londonderry campus expansion, and major urban regeneration initiatives.
These catalytic projects are set to stimulate economic growth in the North West and generate wider benefits for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The President’s Annual Lunch will serve as a platform for thought-provoking discussion and present key networking opportunities for members, as well as supporting Andrew’s chosen charity, In Your Space Circus.
Derry Chamber President, Andrew Fleming, said:
“The President’s Annual Lunch is a flagship event in our calendar, bringing together key stakeholders to drive meaningful discussions on the future of our region. Collaboration is at the heart of our vision for a thriving North West, and this event will showcase the progress we are making towards that goal.
“We look forward to hosting members to enjoy an informative afternoon. We thank our sponsors at Ulster University and look forward to benefitting our chosen charity, In Your Space Circus, on what is always one of the highlights of the North West’s social calendar for the year.”
