Derry Chamber is delighted to welcome the return of one of the city’s most beloved cultural events – the Carnival of Colours, which will light up the City Centre on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025. Organised by In Your Space Circus (IYSC), the Carnival is now entering its 18th year and promises a weekend of unmissable entertainment and community celebration.

From Guildhall Square to the Peace Garden, the heart of our city will become a stage for internationally acclaimed performers, local artists, and young talent. With a packed programme featuring thrilling circus acts, street theatre, live music, dance, and family-friendly fun, this free festival is a highlight in Derry’s cultural calendar and a shining example of what makes our city centre so dynamic and welcoming.

The Chamber is especially proud to support an event that not only entertains, but drives footfall into our city centre, supporting local shops, cafés, and hospitality venues.

The Carnival of Colours brings together people from all walks of life in a shared celebration of creativity, joy, and local pride. In Your Space Circus continues to demonstrate how the arts can transform public spaces and bring vibrancy to our city – a mission Derry Chamber wholeheartedly supports, with IYSC as Chamber President Andrew Fleming’s chosen charity.

As the funding landscape becomes more challenging for arts and community events, the Chamber commends the resilience and ingenuity of the IYSC team in continuing to deliver a world-class festival that remains free and inclusive. Donations on-site or online will go a long way in helping to sustain this annual highlight in the North West’s calendar.
