This week we would like to use Good News Friday to introduce two of our newest Board members, although we are pretty sure they will be well known to most of you. |
First up is Natasha O’Hea. In her role as Innovation Lead at Catalyst, Natasha oversees Corporate Innovation within the Open Innovation team. Her role places her at the forefront of innovation strategy and collaboration meaning she collaborates closely with organisations to help them define their innovation objectives and execute tailored strategies to realise these goals. Natasha focuses on three key areas: Corporate Innovation Culture, Innovation Practice, and Innovation Strategy.Natasha is a graduate of Ulster University, holding an LLB with Law with Economics and an MSc in Communications Advertising and Public Relations. Beyond her professional pursuits, Natasha is deeply committed to the growth and economic development of the North West Region. She champions collaboration and knowledge sharing as catalysts for progress and actively promotes partnerships among businesses, the public sector, and academia to drive collective advancement in the North West. |
Eamon McCay is the Founder and Chairman of Frylite Solutions and has been a visionary pioneer in the Circular Economy for over 30 years. Frylite Solutions is full solutions partner to the food & catering business. The company is headquartered in Strabane and employs over 300 people, with depots in Dublin, Cork, Galway & Lisburn. It is a market leader in the sustainable supply, collection & management of cooking oil, servicing over 8000 customers on the island of Ireland. It was the first company in Ireland to collect used oil and food waste to generate renewable energy.Eamon is community focused and invested in youth development, he serves on the Board of Governors of Knockavoe Special Care School and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Jobs Direction and Strabane Enterprise Agency. He is a supporter and mentor to young students and believes everybody is good at something and he works to help people uncover their strengths. |
