The call handler will be the first point of contact to those who make contact with La Dolce Vita Project. Therefore, it is important that the person for this role has a professional ability to work with the public.
The call handler will contribute to the overall day to day administration duties of La Dolce Vita Project to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
DUTIES:
Welcoming and ensuring all visitors who enter sign in
Completing of initial beneficiary contact
Manage booking system in reference to: Booking, Cancelling, Rescheduling and recording of appointments, events and training.
Inform appropriate team member of visitor’s arrival.
Prepare required letters E.G: cancellation, DNA, and next appointment.
Recording of letters sent in accordance with GDPR.
Answering and dealing with telephone calls within their role and professional limitations to include information go include information on La Dolce Vita Project.
Ensure appropriate telephone answer message is left to include, closing times, notice of holidays and helpline numbers.
Prepare information and update data on telephone log, in-house notes, visitors, and referrals made as and when required.
Prepare and update educational workshop bookings.
Support the administration set up of meetings, workshops, support groups etc.
Filing and organisation of data
Photocopying
Supporting administration work of Director of Services when required.
Be aware and show a full understanding of policies and procedures in place in maintaining client confidentiality, privacy, and GDPR.
Understanding and awareness in dealing with and recording of incidents for those in a domestic abuse, violence, and/or parental alienation crisis.
Liaising with Senior therapist/ Mentor and Director of Services, other agencies, and GP’s in best interest of those who refer to our services, to ensure the safety of all.
Ensure end of day check list is completed and signed off daily.
Essential requirements:
GCSE English
GCSE Maths
Minimum Business Administration Diploma
Or Minimum of 2 years administration experience in a busy office environment.

Available to work:
Hours: 7.5 up to 15 hours per week (Must be flexible to cover sickness leave and or afternoon shifts).
Salary: £10.50 per hour
