Are you an experienced manager with a background in Fleet/Transport Operations? Join our team at Nicholls and be part of our dynamic business in this key leadership role with responsibility for overseeing our transport operations, managing driver performance, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, and coordinating logistics to maintain the highest standards of service across our business.

What do we need from you?

The successful candidate will have:

✅ Previous management experience within the transport sector
✅ Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance
✅ Excellent organisational and communication skills
✅ Experience in scheduling, fleet management and operational planning
✅ Category C+E licence (essential)
✅ HGV, ADR or transport qualifications advantageous

What will you do in the role?

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day transport operations including:

Driver management, supervision and support
Scheduling and logistics coordination
Health & Safety and compliance requirements
Vehicle standards and tachograph management
Stock management and operational efficiency
Maintaining excellent customer service standards
