Derry City & Strabane District Council are working with Anthesis to evaluate the opportunity for a local offsetting scheme in Northern Ireland. We are currently researching the current offsetting approaches of NI businesses and we would like to hear the views of local medium to large businesses and any relevant network members.

This project is being delivered in partnership with Belfast City Council, Derry City and Strabane District Council, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Ards and North Down Borough Council, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

Our Business Survey only takes around 5 minutes to complete and asks questions about existing work on sustainability and the level of interest in offsetting.

If you would like to hear more about the survey and the project with Anthesis, please contact matt.babic@anthesisgroup.com. Matt and his colleagues are available to speak to companies directly and advertise the survey at any meetings or engagements you might have coming up – please let us know if you have any dates in the diary you would like us to attend for a short briefing.

There will be a short online briefing meeting hosting by Anthesis on the 22nd March at 10am and again on the 23rd March at 10am please contact resilient@belfastcity.gov.uk if you wish to attend either session.

The survey will remain open until April 14th.

Any data shared in the survey will be held in accordance with GDPR and we’ll never share your details with any third party. All results will be anonymised too.

Thanks in advance for your sharing the survey and contributing to this work!
