Londonderry Chamber is delighted to announce that preparations are officially underway for one of the North West’s most anticipated business events, as we announce details of our 68th President’s Annual Dinner.

Taking place on Friday 2nd October 2026 at the Everglades Hotel, the 68th President’s Annual Dinner will welcome business leaders, elected representatives and key stakeholders from across the region for an evening celebrating the achievements, ambition and continued growth of the North West business community.

This year’s prestigious black-tie event will be hosted by broadcaster Lynette Fay and is proudly sponsored by NIE Networks. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception, an exquisite four-course dinner, alongside live entertainment, with further performance announcements to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The evening will also recognise the vital role of indigenous entrepreneurship in the North West city region, celebrating the homegrown businesses that are creating employment, driving investment and helping to shape stronger economic conditions for the region’s future.

Speaking ahead of the event, Derry Chamber President Steven Lindsay said:

“The President’s Annual Dinner is always a highlight in the North West business calendar, bringing together the people and organisations that are helping to shape the future of our region.
“It is an opportunity to celebrate the resilience, innovation and success of our business community, while strengthening the relationships and partnerships that continue to drive economic growth across the North West. We look forward to welcoming guests for what promises to be another memorable evening.”

As part of the evening, Derry Chamber will also raise funds for its 2026 charity partner DEEDS Project (Dementia Engaged and Empowered in Derry & Strabane), with proceeds from the annual charity raffle supporting the organisation’s valuable work across the local community. DEEDS offers a wide range of programmes for people living with dementia and their families, with the aim of the project to keep people living with dementia well for longer in the community.

Supporting the event as Main Sponsor, NIE Networks Head of Communications and Engagement, Peter McClenaghan, said:

“At NIE Networks, we’re committed to providing a reliable, resilient and future-ready electricity network that enables businesses and communities to thrive. Supporting Derry Chamber’s President’s Annual Dinner reflects our commitment to the North West and to the businesses that continue to invest, decarbonise, innovate and create opportunities across the region.

“Bringing the local business community together to celebrate success and strengthen connections is something we are thrilled to support.”

The President’s Annual Dinner has become one of the region’s most high-profile networking events, offering guests the opportunity to build new connections, strengthen existing relationships and celebrate another successful year for the local business community.

Derry Chamber invites our members and the wider business community to join us on Friday 2nd October, from 6.30pm at the Everglades Hotel, for an exceptional evening of celebration, networking and entertainment.
