UV Arts, a local not-for-profit creative social enterprise and the team behind the Derry Girls, Factory Girls and Dalai Lama murals, announces the launch of the city’s first dedicated street art and urban arts gallery, located at the Garden of Reflection Gallery, 16 Bishops street, Derry.

The gallery “The Spot” is the first of its kind for the city in a partnership with local organisation Inner City Trust which aims to encourage a new celebration of Street Art and Contemporary Urban Art bringing a brand new gallery experience to the city. The debut exhibition connects the growing street art movement in the city with a modern and contemporary exhibition space, graffiti store and creative hub for urban artists. Artists exhibiting are responsible for many of the large-scale murals dotted across the city and district.

The gallery will host a series of educational workshops, professional training services and alternative art, prints and products that can help create your own colossal art.
