Ulster University hosts the only Confucius Institute in Northern Ireland. Our Chinese
colleagues are offering a 6-week Taster Course (via Zoom) on Chinese for Business, free to the general public. Lessons will be held weekly and will be two hours per
week with a qualified Mandarin tutor. The course focuses on learning about specific
business related topics such as greetings, the correct business etiquette, business trip
and exchanging gifts and business cards. This is also an exciting opportunity to learn
some basic Business Chinese language skills that can be used in a professional setting. The Mandarin tutor will also introduce some Chinese culture such as the Chinese
zodiac, the Lunar calendar, traditional festivals, regional cuisines and Chinese tea
culture. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Time: 6.00pm to 8.00pm, Thursday

(no lessons during Christmas Break from 20-31 December)
